Brendan was born near Providence, Rhode Island, and lived in Burlington, Vermont and in Providence, RI before making his way to Massachusetts. After working in a variety of entry level jobs Brendan has been an educator in the Providence public school system for the past thirteen years. Over the years serving as a teacher, track and field coach and a brief time as an assistant principal.
Brendan has had a lifelong love of the written word and will use this platform to develop insights into what books, media and ideas are currently influencing us. He has written several short stories, articles, and recently has completed a novel.
Brendan lives in Westborough, Massachusetts with his wife Suzanne, son Jacob, and four dogs: Benjamin, Gus, Ginger and Lilah. When he is not writing or working he enjoys going on hikes with his family, photography, cycling, running, trying to play the guitar, and skiing.
